1) What has drawn you to be involved in theatre?
I’ve always loved theatre. It’s something that’s been part of my life since I was cast as Baby Bear in Goldilocks and the Three Bears in pre-school. After I learned to read and write, I began developing my own plays and performing them for my family.
2) What do you like most about the character you are playing or the job you are doing for The Importance of Being Earnest?
There’s so many creative possibilities when you’re involved in theatre. It’s thrilling to be involved with The Big Bear Theatre Project as a director and its managing director and to help grow something that’s long been a part of the Big Bear scene. There’s such a strong history of theatre here and I had to jump at the opportunity to be part of it. Theatre‘s always been my passion, whether my involvement with it be acting, writing, directing, or producing. I just love being in Big Bear, working with such incredible people, and cultivating a theatre company for artists and audiences to enjoy for years to come.
3) What qualities do find most admirable in a person?
Intelligence, wit, honesty, and a good sense of humor.
4) What is your comfort food?
A piece of berry pie warmed up. Ideally for breakfast. With a big cup of coffee.
5) Describe your greatest accomplishment.
I picked a dress out at a store one time and after purchasing it, I realized it had pockets.
THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST runs November 20-24, 2019 at the Big Bear Lake Performing Arts Center.
